Kuroemon KATAYAMA
Maso (Mazu)
Noh performer of Kanze school. Born in Kyoto in 1964 as the eldest son of Yusetsu Katayama (Kuroemon the 9th), he trained under his father and Tetsunojo Kanze. He presides over the Katayama Regular Nogakukai. In addition to appearing in numerous performances all over the country, he also actively participates in overseas performances in Europe and the United States. Moreover, he is also involved in activities to popularize Noh for young people, such as holding Noh classes by going to school, producing "Noh picture books", and converting Noh stages to CG.
In 2011, he succeeded the name Kuroemon Katayama. He is a holder of an important intangible cultural property (general designation), the Kyoto Prefectural Cultural Award Encouragement Award, Kyoto City Art New Artist Award, Agency for Cultural Affairs Art Festival New Artist Award, etc.
Mansai NOMURA
Myojin
Born in 1966. The eldest son of Mansaku Nomura. He trained under the grandfather Manzo Nomura and his father. He is a holder of Important intangible cultural property (comprehensive designation). He experienced the first stage at the age of three. He graduated from the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. While aiming to popularize Kyogen at home and abroad, he is also enthusiastic about new theater activities. He received the New Artist Award at the Arts Festival, the New Artist Award from the MEXT and so on, and lectures at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Kinya HOSHO
Otomo-no-Yakamochi
The 13th head of Wakikata Shimokake Hosho school. Born as the eldest son of Kan Hosho (living national treasure) in 1967, he trained under his grandfather Yaichi and his father. He performed for the first time at the age of eight. He will also work on revival of "Daihannya" and "Shikichi-Monogurui" and creating new plays such as "Midaregami" and "Bokonka". He is also a holder of Intangible cultural property (comprehensive designation), and received the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Newcomer Award.
Born in Kyoto in 1966, he trained under his father Ken Mikata, Yusetsu Katayama and Kuroemon Katayama. In 2002, he supervised and appeared in the Noh introductory program "Noh-zanmai" on KBS Kyoto TV. In 2003, he wrote the script for the new Noh play "Machizuki" and played the protagonist. He also received the "Kyoto City New Artist Award" in 2001, the "Kyoto Prefecture Cultural Award Encouragement Award" in 2004, and published "Izana to Noh" from Tankosha Publishing in 2006. He is also a holder of important intangible cultural property (general).

Born in 1979. The second son of Shime II. His first stage was at the age of 4. In addition to the Kyogen stage, he has also appeared in contemporary plays, dramas, and movies. He has also worked on new works and revival of kyogen, and presides over "Isseikai" with Kikunosuke Onoe to express a new form of Japanese entertainment. In 2006, he went to France under the Agency for Cultural Affairs' overseas dispatch training system for emerging artists.
Manabu TEKEICHI
Flute
Born in 1972. He became a pupil of the Fujita style family in 1983 and performed for the first time in 1984. He graduated as the third generation from the National Noh Theater three-role training project in 1996. He participated in many overseas performances such as New York 9.11. Memorial performance, Athens and Epidaurus, Greece. He received the 29th Art Creation Award in 2013 and the Nagoya City Art Encouragement Award in 2019. He is also a holder of Important intangible cultural property (general).
Hirotada KAMEI
Big hand drum
The 15th head of Nohgaku Hayashi Kadono-style big-hand-drummers. Born as the eldest son of Tadao Kamei and Sataro Tanaka IX in 1974, he trained under his father and Tetsunojo Kanze. His first stage was "Hagoromo" at the age of six. He has made music of a large number of new and revised Noh plays. He received the Victor Traditional Culture Promotion Foundation Award Encouragement Award and the 14th Japan Traditional Culture Encouragement Award. Inheriting the Kadono-style fifteenth generation in January 2016, he presides over "Sankyokai," "Hirotada no Kai," and "Kameikai."
Born in Kyoto in 1967. From an early age, he learned under his grandfather Yasuzo, father Koichi, and Kuroemon Katayama IX. At the age of four, he performed for the first time at the dance "Genjo". He graduated from the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. He is a holder of an important intangible cultural property (general). He is also Director of Kyoto Kanzekai and Part-time lecturer at Toei Gakuen. He has a students association "Shinyokai" in Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka, and Kobe Sanda. He is also a lecturer of Nohgaku Subcommittee of Japan Business Association.

Ichiro KICHISAKA
Small hand drum
Born in 1965. After being trained by his late grandfather Shuichi Kichisaka, he performed for the first time on the solo drum "Chikubushima" in 1975. In 1986, he became a pupil of Genjiro Okura. He has also participated in Noh performances around the world, including Israel, Milan, Rome, Palermo, Paris, London and so on. He presides over the company's "Wakabakai". He is also a member of the Japan Noh Theater Association and Lecturer at the National Noh Theater training course.
Mitsunori Maekawa
Drum
Drummer of Komparu style. Born in 1979, he trained under Soemon Komparu, grandfather Mitsutaka Maekawa, and father Mitsunaga. His first stage was "Kurama Tengu" in 1985 with the musical accompaniment. In 1999 he performed "Ishibashi", "Ran" and "Dojoji". He received the Kyoto City University of Arts New Face Award in 2013. He is also Director of Kyoto Nohgakukai and General Incorporated Association Kyoto Nohgaku Musicians Domeikai. He is active mainly in Kyoto.
